After dozens of years staging in the shadow Blues came in the sixties above all borders to a broad audience. What staked in the twenties as “Race music” in the black population is known today as Blues and Soul culture in the American history. That had a great influence on the rock music in the sixties. 

The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and other leading people in the pop industry always remarked that the English pop scene in the sixties wouldn’t have gone that way without the influence of the American Blues. The best-known American Blues musicians appeared on stage in miserable clubs, in Europe, in the opposite, in the best places with enthusiastic audience.
